size guide
You do not need to go anywhere or buy anything. A strip of paper, a ruler and a quiet minute will do — and if you are still unsure, just write to me and we will work it out.
three steps
wrap your finger in paper
Cut a strip about a centimetre wide and wrap it around the base of your finger — where the ring is meant to sit. Snug, but not cutting in.
mark it and measure
Mark where the strip meets itself, unroll it and hold it against a ruler. That number in millimetres is your finger circumference.
subtract 40
Circumference minus 40 is the size I work in. 53 mm becomes size 13. The table below has all of it ready for you.

The surcharge exists because a bigger ring is simply more silver. The amounts above apply to collection pieces — customs (including anything in gold) are quoted individually.

before you choose
Finger size can differ between your left and right hand — one is usually a little bigger than the other. The ring will fit the finger it was measured for, but it may not sit quite as well on a different one.
Finger size also shifts a little through the day and with the season. On warmer days, or after exercise, fingers tend to swell slightly; in the cold, or first thing in the morning, they run a touch slimmer.
